How can I mount a mini usb flash drive to Acer Liquid Z5 Z150?

Hello,

I've bought an Acer Liquid Z5 Z150 and a Usb Flash drive of 64GB.
Problem is when I plug the usb stick into my phone, nothing happens.
The Usb Flash Drive doesn't show up in the File Manager.

I've tested it on a friend's Samsung Android Smartphone.
The device did notify the connection of the Usb Flash Drive but wasn't able to open the content.

Does anyone know why this doesn't work or how to fix it?

I'm not sure that Z5 supports USB OTG.

I don't have this device. for my Nexus 7 it had to have special admin privileges, I had to install something called Stickmount, that is available from the Play store. I don't think that any device recognizes a USB OTG without some special software being installed. Could be wrong on other devices, but the Nexus 7 needs to have special software.

USB OTG is a standard android function but it needs supported hardware and that the builder uses the correct kernel.

Not all Acer android devices support this function.

Well is not possible to do such a ting with this phone, Samsung does support it because they make good quality devices, and the Acer z150 is not a good quality device , what a pity, I feel stolen , I don't like this useless phone, anyway ,try a Samsung and tell us about your experience , I wish I could do it , but I don't have enough money because I spend it on the Acer z150 I wish I could go back in time to avoid this phone being created, jmmm
