Hi,

My dad bought this really cool notebook with gaming entry parts. I was wanting to install the latest driver on the Nvidia webiste but it keeps telling me that the hardware is undetected. I tried uninstalling both the Nvidia and the Intel driver but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to stop this error from occuring?

Thanks,

   Fsfan

You need to use the driver from Acer.

I searched on the site...there are none for this notebook except for the intel driver. I really want to be up to date with the latest Nvidia drivers. I mean, latest drivers sometimes do mean an increase in performance!

The Acer driver is designed to work with all the specs of the laptop, the Latest driver from Nvidia isn't and sometimes it won't work correctly in a laptop.Try the Nvidia driver here:

Should be ok, but make sure your anti-virus is on.
