Acer liquid E3 KitKat 4.4.2, a lot of Bug

Hi, after upgrading to Android kitkat I found many flaws in E3.
When I send or receive a text message appear instead of the time of arrival of the sms comes out the word "unknown artist"
To change the ringtone of the SIM 2 in the menu there is no option, you have to go to Video Call Ringtone
The Status Bar is transparent only in the lock screen
The battery will drain faster
The theme of Acer (green) in some windows will be replaced by the classic theme (Blue)
On the main screen can not be applied a scrollable wallpaper

There is a possibility that Acer releases an update to fix these problems even with the KitKat latest version (4.4.4)? Or maybe lollipop ...Robot wink

    can you post your build number?

     

    settings/about phone/build version

     

    are you using english as locale?

     

    i don't have those bugs on my E3 with KK.

    It's a E3 Plus, bought in the acer store, used in Italy, no brand, dual sim

    Build Number: Acer_AV0K0_E380_1.018.00_EMEA_GEN1

    Custom Built: yang2.1411648186

    SMS time and date, i don't have this issue, it signs always the received time and date (using H3G), what's your network provider?

     

    SIM2 ringtone, try to set english as language, this will let appear the SIM2 ringtones options (know bug)

     

    Trasparent notification bar, yes KK must have it trasparent.....i never saw an Acer device with it, even the E700 (i will double check next weekend)

     

    battery drain is normal on mine.

     

    About theme, can you give an example, so i can check it quickly?

     

    Scrollable wallpaper, i must check it with a bigger wallpaper.

     

    have you already did a factory data reset?

    Ciao!

     

    For the ringtone is true, it is a problem of translation.
    For the background I have already tried with wallpaper large, there is no option to have the scrollable wallpaper.
    I have H3G too, the problem is only with text messages newly received or sent, after a minute appears "1 minute ago"
    the theme problem is for example in the window before turning off the phone, the theme color changes from green to blue (pictures)

    Ok, about the SMS probably is a local bug too as the ringtones SIM2 settings....

     

    About the Acer theme, i think it works as intended, not sure at 100% but probably the theme apply only on some part of system UI, some parts probably are locked or they didn't want to customize.

     

    About wallpapers, yes it doesn't scroll, need to check if it's a bug or they locked the wallpaper scrolling.

    I have a problem when i try to add an APN on mobile network settings 

    com.android.phone is closed

    i can't connect without the APN

    I just tried on mine with latest KK 4.4.2 and no problem on settings and saving a new APN.

     

    Try to use english as language and please report your build number

    practically are not bugs but just lacks of the phone ... I hope there will be another update to fix
