A beep on touch isn't typically turned on, except for the touch keyboard. If you are not getting a beep with the touch keyboard and want one you can turn it on.
Go to PC Settings; General in Windows 8 or PC Settings; PC & Devices; Typing in windows 8.1.
Scroll down to the setting 'Play key sounds as I type' and turn it on.
Make sure you don't have your speakers muted.
Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful or click on "Yes" if it answers your question.0 -
Hello,
if i use the onscreen-keyboard, there is a touch-tone. This is ok.
But i want a generaly touch tone if i klick on touchsceen everywhere (on desktop - doubleklick on icons - not just in the onscreen-keyboard).
Best RegardsRoland

You might be able to get there with the Sound preferences, maybe turning on a sound for 'Select' would do it. Failing that I'm afraid it'd require writing an app to play a sound on mouseclick events. Not a simple process, but possible I think. It is definitely not the standard behavior...
It would drive me crazy, I think.

As I said, you are likely going to have to write an app to do it. It's not the standard behavior and I don't of anyone who has already written something to do what you want.
