hello i have an inconia W5 Tablet , i wish to restore it to default . i have the recovery cd's but no external cd reader . 

please help regarding this issue.

    Have a choice: can either buy a powered USB DVD player, or transfer the CDs and/or DVD to an external bootable drive (are several threads on what you need to do).

    you may be able to restore it from recovery partition unless you did OS upgrade. make sure you have at least 10gb free on disk or you will get a warning and restore will not proceed. go to change pc settings; update & recovery in win 8.

    hello , i have all the recovery cd . please advice how to send them to a pendrive so that i can factory restore it.

    With regards to the recovery partition , i  dont have any partition in the tablet.

    In general, Windows will only boot from a fixed drive (rotating or SSD) and not a removable drive. The only flash drives that I know can be made bootable are Workspace drives.
