Switch 10: Anyone installed 8.1 Pro?

I need Hyper-V for my programming development and wondering if win8.1 pro makes anything better or worse before I spring for the bucks to upgrade?

Anyone?

{edit}

There is a Pro version, (SW5-012-14HK) but when I check the Downloads for Drivers, there is no "Pro" OS in the drop down list. I am guessing the drivers are all the same for the 8.1-32bit version?

Thoughts?

    Drivers should be the same, you'll only have issues if you were to try a 64bit version instead of the 32bit one all the drivers are geared for.

    BTW unless you plan to use XP it is hard to set up virtual devices with less than 4gb of RAM and 8 is better. I thought a Switch 10 came with 2.

    Ummmm, it is all Virtual! And with the "hard" drive being an eMMC, it is all memory, including the Page file. Smiley Happy

    I have it running win7-pro and it all works fine, albeit a little slow at start, compiling and linking. That's why I want Hyper-V to better handle background virtualization stuff.

    Soooo, to get back to the OP, anyone actually installed Pro?
