Just got the Acer monitor and I am trying to connect it to my Toshiba Satellite Pro L850 laptop running Windows 7 SP1. It works fine when the screen duplicates the desktop from my laptop however when I try and set it up as an extended desktop and touch the screen, the pointer points at the corresponding area on my laptop rather than on the monitor. When in the Tablet PC Settings, it says that the monitor does not have any "pen or touch input available for this display". I have tried updating my Display Drivers from Toshiba and I am up to date on that. Also I have tried switching between HDMI and VGA cables and the USB is connected. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks!

  • Hi,

Sorry that you are not able to use touch function, as you said you've installed the Drivers for toshiba display.
    1. Do you find any other / unknown device under device manager,.
    2. Have you tried different USB Cable / Port for the Touch function
    3. Have you installed the Touch driver for the monitor
