cannot open

Yesterday I can still use my aspire switch 10. But last night and today it is not turning on. There is no light appearing. When I about to open the tab is hot but still it cannot be open. Please help me, all my files are there.

    Disconnect the AC adapter and you may press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 second.

    Then connect the AC adapter and power On Acer switch, You may also check if the AC adapter is working.

    If still unable to power ON, try to reset the Acer switch by inserting a paper clip into the reset pin hole and pressing it for four seconds.

    Hi,

    As you say the tab was hot, & unable to open, was that the tablet was connected to the Keyboard Dock, if yes have you tried to undock, & if yes & if the tablet was still hot, its better suggested to contact support,.

    Yes the tab is connected with the keyboard. I already tried to undock it but it is still the same.

    The adapter is already disconnected. The AC adapter is working.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reply, Please contact support for the unit over heating, & I Highly recommend NOT TO POWER ON THE UNIT, OVER HEAT MAY CAUSE INTERNAL OR COULD ALSO HURT YOU IN WORST CASE

    I have searched everywhere and can't find a reset hole. Where is it?

    I cannot open again my acer switch. Once the power button is pressed it only light up to violet and the cursor is swen but the whole page is not appearing. I already tried resetting it but it is not working.

    This type of error can happen on occasion when waking from sleep mode. Check to make sure you're completely shut down (press and hold the power button until it shuts down completely) and try to restart again. If you still get only the backlit blank screen it is more likely a hardware issue where you'd need to contact Acer support. The only other scenario i can come up with would be if it thought a external display was connected, but I'd still expect the Acer splash screen on the tablet before switching to the external display.
