Liquid E3 Flip case

Hi

I have an E3 duo Plus with Flipcase. In the small Flip case window I can see the time and a few wheather symbols (constant showing a sun and temperature 0 degree. If I swipe there is another window with player symbols, but nothing happens when I press the icons. These windows was new after the Kit-kat upgrade.

 

Is there some settings anywhere to eneble the windows or is there an app...

I have serched but sofar not found anything...

    I found the soulotion to the Weather info...

    It's supported by the app Digital Clock and weather, and that app is default on the phone. I used HD-widget on my homescreen, but after disabling that and instead installed the widget from Digital clock & weather, the weatherinfo in the Flip window works.

    Th weather widget need network data connection to work.

    and the music player must found some music files to work.

     

    you can remove the music player widget, long pressing and moving to the trash icon on the top left of screen.

    I have network connection, both WiFi and 3G/datacom. I also have a lot of music on the SD-card.

    Now I have uninstalled my players (Music+VLC) and restarded the phone, but I still can't use the player in the Flipcase window...

    The player widget is from google music, as far as i know, so try to play some music from the application instead of the widget, then try again with the widget.

    About the weather widget, sometimes you need to delete it and re-apply to let it work.
    Check also in the top right of the widget, there is a little gear, tap it and you will pop up some settings.

    Thanks IronFly now the player works, the "secret" was that a (any) player app mut be running...

     

    But the weather doesn't work. Time & date is OK but weather NOT. I have tried different Clock and weather apps/widgets but non of them works in the small Flip case window. More ideeas??

    I don't have the flip cover, so i don't know how to help you.

     

    the Acer weather widget for sure they work, i tried but i don't know if it's something related to the flip cover.

    hi,
    I have a question about the appearance of the screen in the window.
    As seen from the figures attached, the screen should be black with white lettering instead in the smartphone appears a different graphics
    can it be changed?

    I think the new font was introduced with thw upgrade to 4.4. Can not be changed I think...
