Liquid E3 Storage Issue!

Hi all,

I've had a Liquid E3 about two weeks and I bought an Integral brand 16GB Micro SD card for it yesterday. For some reason, I can't install any other apps onto my phone due to "insufficient storage" on my device. I've got like 14.5gb free according to the settings screen! I've tried setting it so everything automatically saves to the SD card, but it just seems to not acknowledge it.

Any ideas?

Start camera application, tap on the settings icon (top left of the screen), scroll down and select SD under "Storage", press OK.

    done

Applications can be installed only on the internal storage and then you can move them to the external storage (not all the applications are movable and also you can't move all the content)
On SD you can save pictures, music, movies.

Moving apps into the SD card using the above method has worked, thank you!

But, according to the app settings screen I had 500mb free and it would let me install a 13mb app due to "insufficient storage." What's that all about?

probably the "insufficient storage" is more related to cache then the whole storage.

they only way to fix it is to do a clear cache, there are some applications on google play that will do it.

I'm still having a problem saving pics straight to the SD card. It tells me I have insufficient storage and I'm having to delete pictures before I can take new ones.

    Any ideas?

Did you get the memory card off Ebay from a shop or off the High St.

There are many fake memory cards about that are flashed as 16, 32 & 64GB when really they may be only 2gb.

Was it packed in retail packaging?

It's by the brand Integral. I bought it in a Wilkos. According to the settings screen the SD card has been recognised, and it says I have 14gb (ish) free. I just need to set it so all photos go straight to the card!
