Have you attempted to uninstall and then reinstall the problem applications?

What system and OS are you using?

Can you provide a list of the applications exhibiting the issue?

    When did the issue begin?

Are there applications that you CAN open and which work properly?

Does Internet Explorer open and work?

With some included Microsoft programs working, but many added third party programs not working, I would suggest that there is something very wrong with the operating system.

At this point, I would suggest backing up what data you are able, and using eRecovery to restore the system to factory defaults.

How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program?

How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program outside of Windows?
