I'm a new Acer Iconia B1 user and I am having trouble using the camera, can anyone help

it seems I can only see myself on the screen, I would be grateful for any advice, thankyou

    There is no easy way since you would have to trigger the picture while the tablet is facing away from you, unless you want Selfies of course! Smiley Happy

     

    The other issue is since the camera is designed for Skype type uses it focuses fairly close. That means it won't do well for sunsets and such.

     

    You might see what you can do with a mirror held to see the display while pointing the camera at something...

    Iconia B1 has only front camera (facing you) to use as webcam for videochats (ex. Skype).

     

    No rear camera is present, so it's normal that you can see yourself when enabling the camera application.

    I don't know your tablet well and if it's enabled to take pictures, but have you checked if any application called "Camera" is available?

    if not you can download a free one from google play:
