Good day to those who will kindly help me with this problem. I'm not quite knowledgable in the program just a basic troubleshooting.

I have Acer Aspire 4745G laptop with windows 7 OS. After i turn on my laptop it freeze with this Cursos(_) preventing to startup in windows. i press ctrl+alt+delete to restart my computer then press F2 to change Boot (from Harddrive to CD-ROM) and save changes, restart. Still it freeze in the cursor(_). i went back to BIOS then i change AHCI to IDE then restart. the cursor blink twice/thrice and move to windows loading screen then restart from its own. after it restart from its own, it appear a system repair and start windows normally. i went to system repair to restore a point where my computer works fine. only windows update are shown in the system restore. but it still the same its just keeps on starting. i kept trying to fix my laptop without using any external program because im not knowledgable with those kind of things. i even went to erecovery management to restore everything back to start now im stuck at 50% for more than an hour.

Based on my observation it appears that my AHCI is corrupted/broken. even IDE works the default SATA is AHCI.

how do i fix this.

THank you...

Try pressing the ALT + HOME keys to minimize the erecovery screen. There may be another hidden erecovery screen waiting for a response from you.
