Laptop on service - Delivered to DHL - Wrong tracking number?

About two weeks ago, I delivered my laptop to Acer. Everything was going smoothly, until the return transport. I received an email saying that the laptop had been delivered to the DHL, with tracking number:[edited for privacy]. This had to be wrong I thought. I then checked the tracking system on DHL's website, seeing that as I said, they couldn't find anything from the number. However the number should be only 10 characters / numbers long. After contacting DHL, and telling them to search for a product with my address in, they couldn't find anything. I'd rather not call Acer Norway as it costs 1gbp (10nok) per minute, which is just a lot. Acer Norway does not provide any email support either, so I'm kind of lost here. Any ideas what to do?

    Thanks for the suggestion. However I get this error message:

    Parcel reference is invalid, Postcode is invalid

    DHL

    Typically the tracking code for DHL parcels is found underneath or above the barcode. The number will vary depending on the DHL service you're using - for example UK Parcels use a different code to the tracking code used for Euro Road.

    DHL UK Parcels: A 10 Digit Number underneath the barcode on your Airway Bill.
    DHL Euro Road: A 19 Digit Number starting with JJD on your Airway Bill.
    DHL International: A 10 Digit Number underneath the barcode on your Airway Bill.

    So this means that it's being transported by road? trailers? how do I track it? as it starts on JD. Thanks

    It was shipped earlier today, about 8AM UK time.

    Not good.

    Try to contact your Acer service, i don't have other ideas. Smiley Sad

     

    or if it costs less, call DHL and tell that you have this code, probably on the website is impossible to track it, since it appears as ident code.

    Ah, I see. Yeah it costs less than 1gbp per minute. I'll try calling them and see what they say then. Thanks for the help.

    Mailed DHL where I got told that she couldn't find anything for the JJD code or my zip code.. But that I should call Acer and get the tracking number from them
