And by the way: why does "Acer Launch Manager" keeps telling me to "Safely disconnect device" when I undock the keyboard? It tells me to use "Safely Remove Hardware" function in Windows, which I would do if it was visibile-available - but it is not!

Bur... error... inconsistency... I don't know why it keeps telling us that.

Acer acknowledged the issue but doesn't fix it yet. It shouldn't tell us nothing according to this post:

    SOLUTION

It is not necessary to use the Windows eject feature to remove the switch 10 from the keyboard. This option is not available in your system tray and is not required to disconnect the tablet.

I guess the message was meant for old version of a detachable (2x1) tablet.

You don't (and can't) do anything, just eject.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

Did you try to reinstall the Intel Platform Driver ?

For me, it solved the problem.

So which software should be removed (by me) or updated  (by Acer) so that it stops telling user to use Safe Remove???

I just did a full recovery reset and did an Intel driver reinstall. I have to see if this solved it. Also I wonder if the Windows updates (and some optional driver updates offered there) could have an impact on system stability?
