Huge sound problem with my acer w510

Hello,

I have the acer w510 fot two weeks and, like many others (see other threads), the sound of my tablet keeps disappearing randomly. The only way to get it back is to restart the tablet. As you can imagine, it is not possible to reboot the system everytime you need sound. It is extremely annoying, to say the least. It is a pity, because the tablet is pretty nice otherwise. Since the problem is very widespread and is a real deal breaker, Can we please receive an official solution from Acer? It would be stupid to destroy the reputation of this new product by counter advertising this product online, which I wouldn't hesitate to do to protect other customers.. Thank you for your understanding

Hi pal, had the same problem with the sound and wifi too. Me sound would randomly mute off and need a restart to fix it and my wifi would disconnect itself when resume from sleep. I've downloaded the W510 latest driver from "http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers"

Under the driver section, choose Driver Package 2.04; 35.3MB; 2013/01/08 ... should be the latest looking at it's posted date.

So far the fix seems to patch up the wifi, it won't d/c when resume from sleep. Not sure bout the sound issue thou... will need further testing. Will keep this forum posted Smiley Very Happy
