Can someone help me? I was stupid enough to install windows 8.1 on my computer. Everything else works quite fine, but the blu-ray disc player tray wont open. Nothing happens when i press the button on computer to open it. Need some drivers? But where do i get them from? General windows cd-dvd drivers wont work.

The front tray button doesn't need drivers, it's a simple button that will send an input to the dvd-blueray tray.

Maybe is the front door that is stuck

the dvd-blueray is available on system?

if it's available on explorer, right click over it and choose eject.

Hi, the drive shows in device manager and in explorer as BD-drive. I am enable to Eject it, but the drive wont close. If i push it to close it, it will stay closed (or if i leave it open maybe close it self later). If there is a disk inside, windows wont recognize it. If i try to open the disc or check properties, explorer will stop working. (i don't know what is the right term in english version, but it will say "explorer (not responding)" directly translated. Yesterday it happened once so, that i had a disc inside and had almost forgotten it while doing other stuff, and suddenly the drive started working after several minutes and i was able to install some drivers from the disc. Any more ideas?
