Thank you Kudos, it is exactly like you said, got me a Adapter for Europe, I have another question ? do someone know how to change my Iconia W4-820-2671 from vertical to horizontal showing, I like the horizontal showing better, especially with Skype ? I want to uninstal Skype in windows 8.1, and reinstall, that way it is more familiar like on my laptop ? in windows 7 .

Yes, it will work in Europe just fine. If you don't have the appropriate power cord for Germany you will need to use an adapter, as you suggest. Connect to the internet the same as you do elsewhere, via WiFi.

Just to clarify what Billsey said: you will need an adapter to get the right prongs to plug into a German wall outlet.  You DO NOT need a TRANSFORMER (i.e. device to change voltage from 220 to 110)  as you alluded to in your post as the power adapter/cord that comes with the tablet will accept 110-240 V input (or should anyway as the one I got does -- never hurts to check the label on it before you plug it in).

Thank you for your reply and advise, but in the description of the Tablet it says what is in the Box,What's in the Box:•Tablet and AC adapter , it says not that you can change the voltage,I have many AC adapters, but you not can change the voltage,it is only for 110 V.

What country are you buying it in?  Almost every AC adapter/cord I have for electronics if you look at it says "Input: 110-240V A/C".  If that's the case you just need the adapter to be able to plug it in, not a transformer.  If you're buying it in north America I'd be very confident this would be the case.  It's worth waiting and checking when it arrives before getting a transformer if that's a viable option.

It's probably possible that that particular app only has a vertical option, but I don't think that's common.  |f your screen doesn't automatically rotate when you turn the device from vertical to horizontal, swipe from the right edge and under the "settings" menu the bottom right side will have a screen icon.  It will likely have a little padlock in the bottom right corner of the icon.  Tap on the screen icon, then on the screen icon at the top of the brightness slider and that will unlock and allow the screen to rotate.  After you have it the way you want you can relock the screen and it won't automatically turn when you turn the device.

It is possible that it won't let you use Skype that way because it's using the camera at the "top" of the device and it may show you sideways on the screen to the person on the other end.  I don't use Skype so I can't say for sure on that.

Glad the cord worked out for you.

Kudo, I relly appreciate your knowledge and advice, I am new to Tablets and I really struggle to operate, when I set on my Tablet, sign in,and open de Desktop, I got a couple of messages on,that I dont know how to get them to disappear ? for example I got a Acer Portal message that says, Before continiuing using this app you have to download and install these updates first, when I klik on "Install" or "Exit" it only makes a noice ?, I also have one message that says ,Enable Acer Cloud Service, I don't know wij they there ,maybe I touched somewhere ? but I don't know how to make them disappear ?? do you have experience with that ?? I would really appreciate your advice !

I believe you need to enable the Acer Cloud Service first (sets up a login/password), then you can download the new versions of the other Acer Cloud apps. They have been doing a number of updates over the last few months, which shows they are in active development. I find them quite useful and have them installed on my non-Acer Windows machines as well as my Acer Windows and Android tablets (and on my Samsung phone as well). If you don't want to use them I think you'll have to uninstall them to get rid of the 'update needed' behaviors.
