Acer Liquid E2 random rebooting

Hi, I'm experiencing trouble with my Acer Liquid E2 single smartphone, I have random reboots that happen a few times daily. When a random reboot occurs the phone gets into a "boot loop". It appeared that the problems started with an overly sensitive "power button".

 

Having bought the smartphone in the Netherlands, I am now living in Thailand. And the drama starts..

 

Acer Netherlands wants me to send the telephone back to the Netherlands, something that has been refused by DHL, due to a recent policy where they not ship batteries anymore.

 

Acer Thailand would be willing to have a look at the smartphone but any repair would be outside of the warranty. This makes me wonder if any trouble happens afterwards that Acer Netherlands would void the warranty..

 

I'm shocked at how Acer as an international business is leaving me. Instead of being ashamed to have delivered such a inferior product they refuse any assistance and hide behind the location where the smartphone has been bought.

 

edit: I see another threat talking about update version v1.030.00. My build number is: Acer_AV061_V370_1.006.00_WW_GEN1s, is this a problem?

    GENs is the latest single SIM rom.

     

    i know is not a "nice" fix, but have you tried to do a factory reset?

     

    if the problem persist after a factory reset....it's an Hardware fault.

    Tried the Factory Reset more than once, no use.. Used up every resource I could find on the internet trying to fix the problem. I just have an almost brand new brick that I can't even return to Acer inside the warranty..

    Can't you send the phone to Acer Netherlands without the battery?

    Hi!

    I have the same problem on my Acer liquid duo, the power button has become too sensitive and now it restarts unexpectedly.

    Have you found any solution to this??

    Hi, I have the same problem, acer liquid E2 rebooting all the time. I bought the phone in France and I am staying in Spain. If I send it to Barcelona, it will not be repaired under the warranty and when I try to send it to the french customer care http://customercare.acer-euro.com/customerselfservice/CaseBooking.aspx?CID=FR&LID=FRA&OP=1 the answer is: Un dossier déjà ouvert existe pour ce Numéro de série. I spoke to the german service and they told me, they could not delete this dossier. I am trapped in an other loop now and I am desperate! Can anyone tell me if I can send the phone without case ID to the french service center?
