After performing a recovery of my tablet using the recovery disks, the re-install of the software hangs at the "Software Installation" point of 5/59 where "Installing Intel Platform Drivers Installer Intel Platform Drivers" is shown. It has been at this point all day and will not go forward in the installation.  What do I do now?  Please help.

    lookn2it,

The problem you are describing can be a result of either bad recovery media or a hardware issue. I would recommend trying to perform the recovery again to see if this solves the problem. If not, please contact technical support in your region.

Last week, I was able to perform the recovery again step by step. As soon as it reached the same point in the re-installation it hung again at the same point. I tried to contact technical support, but since the tablet was re-certified, the tablet no longer had free tech support. I contacted the online merchant about exchanging the tablet for another one as the refurbished tablets were non-refundable. I did receive an RMA number to return the tablet for another one. That is where I am now, waiting for another "exchange" tablet of the same type. I certainly will not attempt to update to Windows 8.1 again if the "exchange" tablet comes with a working copy of Windows 8.0. Thanks for your input, Ryan.
