So those pix floating around of the w700 with keyboard case are real....sorta....it doesnt fold...it stays in the open position, but u can detach it. Btw...the new tab is on .39 inch thick...and comes with the newer intel chips that run faster, but use less juice.

Only thing I see online is the B1 "Jelly Bean". I do not expect 7" Z2760s before 3Q.

Well since the only desktop confirmed to run with those 7w (to my knowledge) is only coming in June, and knowing the unfortunate 4h battery situation of the surface pro i dont believe the tablets that will be released in the upcoming 1 - 3 months will have them already, but time will tell and at day 11 we will know much more.

I dont have the link...it was a cnet live feed. It is not a rumor...its real. As far as im concerned, i really dont care, there will always be a better/newer product around the corner. I love my w700.

It looks the same, but is slightly lighter, and slimmer. It also uses intels next gen proccesor, which uses even less power.

Then no chance it will come in the next few months, even surface pro calculating  from the battery life wont carry those as of yet.

This depends whether it is new low-power Ivy Bridge CPUs or a Haswell device. If the former, then Intel says these are available now so could be released in the next few months, so may be worth waiting for (seeing as we've already waited nearly 3 months after these things were supposed to be available). For me, it's not worth waiting for Haswell devices at the moment, as these are at least six months off, but if Surface Pro could get good enough battery life, it would become much more attractive to me. Also, if this has the Aspire brand in it, then is it really a tablet or a convertible laptop? Microsoft are also being strangely quiet about the CPU in Surface Pro now, so although we have one tweet to suggest it's about 5 hours, this could change before launch if Microsoft have been given early access to the new low power Ivy Bridge chips - bottom line is we will know for sure in the next couple of weeks (I suspect you are right, but hope you are wrong...).

Haswell is a long way to become a mainstream available cpu i believe, i bet until april/may we will see a bunch of these improved ivy bridge tablets /ultrabooks.

If i could choose something right now, not thinking about the price (which i have to irl lol) i would buy the razer edge pro even though the battery life stinks, or even the Lenovo Helix, unforunately it seems ill have to wait at least 1 or 2 more months for a new tablet.

For me a tablet needs to be able to run a "real OS" (Windows, MacOS, Linux). At CES Intel announced the "Bay Trail" 22nm low power replacement for I3/I5/I7 and said tablets will be available 4Q.

Android/iOS still has a place in smart phones, toys, and consumer electronics (I have a MK-802 that would satisfy the needs of many people who would rather buy a big screen TV than a computer). For someone like me, I want a real workhorse and what I need is Clover Trail in a 7" form factor.

    Hello!

Acer's CES booth number isn't listed anywhere online or in the CES guide.  Does anyone know what their display/booth number is and their hall location are?

    Thanks
