I have just gotten this laptop a week ago by tomorrow. It's SNID is [edited for privacy]I looked up drivers and everything I could from all the acer and Intel websites. All of it *****. Non of the finals want to extract with my app mZIP and it doesn't want to open or anything. I don't know what to do. I used to have a mini acer and that had windows 7 starter on it and it was much easier than Windows 8.1 Honestly thought this was supposed to make my ife easier, or at least my computer life easier.

I just don't know what to do, I bought a tv so I could use it to watch movies since who has money for a cable bill each month? Now I feel like I wasted my time and money buying this laptop and tv.

Can someone PLEASE give me baby steps on what to do. I looked up 10 tutorials and no one is clear when they talk. They act like you know what to do your just there to watch their stupid video. I need step-by-step instructions. I am not a computer genius.

So if someone could tell me what the heck to do to get  my Acer to display on my tv that would be great.

The issue I am having is that If I try to go to divices and click duplicate or anything it wont stay on that. I also noticed I am missing drivers that everyone in the tutorials have but cant do anything because non will extract...

That's funny someone had the same issue a few hours ago. He could also not unzip Acer's files. Anyway, try using another zip utility. The Windows unzip function seems to work. So, assign the zip file type back to Windows and all should work as expected.

kinda have a similar problem with my Acer V5-572PG. It was never a problem to connect the notebook with a TV, Beamer etc. using HDMI, but its doesnt work anymore. I wasnt able to connect my notebook to any device by using HDMI anymore. It just doesnt work. I replaced the connection cable, used different cables, different devices...nothing works. The notebook does recogonize the different devices. even if I change the modus to "extern display" or "double display" nothing happends at all. The devices dont get any signal from the notebook. I really need help! Because this connection I need nearly every day! But I didnt get any answers yet. If you solve you problem it would be great if you let me know how...
