what more proof do you need that the dot net framework is not worth using?

this community support script keeps throwing this type of message, from the ASPX pages [ naturally ]

    Thanks for alerting us to this Jaqui.   How often have you seen this error?    Also, can you tell me what page you were viewing or the function executing when you saw it?    Or better yet, the steps you took to encounter the error.

     

    Having the exception number is great, but only one piece of the pie.   Any other information would be greatly appreciated and can help provide a quicker turnaround.   Thanks!

    It comes up about 1 out of every 10 times I go to load a page.

     

    This type of error is frequent, when aspx pages are involved and a NON Microsoft browser is used.

    [ as in GNU/Linux* and a Mozilla browser. ]

     

    *only option for OS, since factory restore completely failed and pooched the windows install on 3 different Acer laptops. one of which was a medialess restore since could not make the discs.
