Liquid E3 (E380) - no Wifi connection after a while

Hi all,

There is a thread on this topic already for Liquid E2 and it seems that the problem exists for Liquid E3 as well:

After a while it is not more possible to connect via DHCP to a Wifi. Ok, I can change IP-settings to "static" and assign manually IP- and Gateway-Adress (this works). But for a connection to an open unknown Wifi endpoint...?

Info: I made the available system update just after buying the Smartphone.

Any ideas / solutions ?

Thanks in advance !

    Hi werder,

i had this issue on E2 but never on my E3, so i really don't know what to suggest....BTW i do a factory reset every update i got, just to avoid stupid issues.

this is not the way OTA must work, since they must update system without loosing user data, but i prefer to do it.

    Thanks Pioneer,

I did a factory reset but the problem comes up again after a few weeks...

Did you make the first (and up to now single offered) system update ? I did...

I´m not the expert in Wifi connections, but is there a way (an App e.g.) to request from a router the gateway IP and a free IP (for sure you must have the password) -> than it would be troublesome to connect but not impossible...

Thanks and regards from Münster (Germany)

i'm too not so expert on wifi connection but i think it's not possible, since it needs to manage the DHCP if available or you must know each settings to let wifi work.
