Windows Update Error W510 Try to revert fails

I have a ICONIA W510.

I did a Recovery to Factory Defaults, with Windows 8. I have this tablet 1,5 years and previously I updated bios and upgrade to Windows 8.1, which I have been working with like 8 months.

After Recovery I do a Windows Update, It has 104 updates pending, but after installed and restart, the tablet say "Error while configuring windows update. Trying to revert changes. Do not turn off the computer"

Nothing happens and I can not start windows.

Any help??

Anybody knows how to know with update is failing?

Hey jcsaez, When you say 'it took so long' How long did it take because mine has been sitting here for about 4 hours and still nothing. I'm not sure if I should try looking for another way to fix this ?

    Cheers.

Well, first time I run recovery again and before update windows, I setup energy manager to no turn off screen and no suspend with energy plug on. After that I run windows updates and all the process takes like 3 or 4 hours. But be patient.

After revert changes you will see in the update history a lot of errors. Never mind, try update again, this time will be ok, and nexts.

    Good luck!
