If I understand the Acer website correctly the full install is only for the 64 GB (W510P ) and not for the 32 GB. is that correct?

Keep in mind that while there are ways to boot other OSs (Kali is very handy to testing), with a ventless tablet you need to ask if you should.

Part of the reason you can only boot a properly organized Acer or Microsoft UEFI compliant drive is because the ventless tabs (Clover Train and hopefully soon Bay Trail though I have only seen one advertising GPS) require active thermal management to prevent overheating. These devices have no fans & must use power management drivers. So far those are only available for Windows 8 and 8.1.

If you need to run other operating systems you are much better off with something that has power ventilation.

Hi just wondering if someone could please confirm that with aclean 8.1 upgrade, there is still the option to optimize Windows Experince index???? I seem to have lost that and also my power options only give a BALANCED option, there is no otion for ADVANCED. So I cannot adjust performance and my W510 is slow as even though its plugged into the charger, it runs at low power consumption settings meaning CPU and GPU are sluggish.

    Hope that makes sense.
