Liquid E2 Battery Low Alert

When my phone battery level reaches 15%, there is a loud alert that sounds. I find this extremely annoying and completely unnecessary, but can't find anywhere in the settings to turn off the alert. Does anyone know if the alert can be turned off and how to go about this?

Ah, I see. I was suspecting another situation. I have checked the rom, but indeed, you are not able to disable this notification, other than just disabling your ringtone volume completely (putting the phone in silent mode).

However, you should be able to find some helpful apps in the Play Store that allow you to mute this sound. A quick search in google resulted in the same URL as the poster above me. That app seems to do what you want.

I'm sorry, there's no 'cleaner' solution at this time. Hope this solves it for you.

    Hello Normcity,

We can check where this is coming from. At first, it does not sound like anything that should be enabled on this phone by default. I have a few questions to see where this comes from:

Can you tell me what this alarm is like? Is it like any of the ringtones on your phone, or is it a beep (like, for example, an alarm clock?).

Are there any 3rd party applications on your phone that could cause this? Do you see any warning message on your display when this alarm rings? It could give a clue what app causes the alarm.

If all is still unclear, make sure to try and reset your phone to factory defaults. This should get rid of the alarm at any rate. You can reset your phone via Settings > Privacy > Factory Reset. Make sure to back up data you want to save before you perform this reset.

Let me know how this works out!

Rolf, it's the standard warning sound from android system when battery reach 15% of charge.
Every android phone has it and on a standard OS the only way to avoid this warning is to put the device on silent mode.

I can't remember an option to disable it but i will double check when i will have the E2 in hands.

It is the warning to which Kudos refers - but my previous android phone did not have this.

The warning is very loud and totally unnecessary. Surely there must be a way to disable it?
