H6510BD Can't get picture from HDMI

I bought a new H6510BD and have it set up in my new theater. I cannot get a picture to project via the HDMI. I have a Sony Blu-Ray player connected to my Sony 7.2 receiver via 3ft HDMI cable, and then a 40ft HDMI cable (I bought the best cable available http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10255&cs_id=1025507&p_id=9171&seq=1&format=2) ran from the receiver output to the projector HDMI 1 input.

The sound works, the picture does not. It does not say "no signal" but the screen will not show the movie.

I hooked up the Sony Blu-Ray player directly to the projector via the 3ft HDMI cable and it showed the picture. However, when I skipped chapters or went to the menu the screen went black and it had to re-aquire the signal.

Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated, or if you think I just got a lemon and need to change it for one that processes the HDMI signal better that would be good to know also.

One other note, I cannot even angle the projector down far enough without it still projecting an image onto the ceiling.

Anyway to adjust this? I literally have the back of the projector propped up 4 inches higher than the front and it won't go low enough. (It's mounted about 20" off the ceiling right now)

You purchased a redmere cable and they can only be connected one way. The ends will be labeled separately for the source and output and you have to connect it accordingly.

For a ceiling mount, the projector needs to be turned upside down.
