Ultra book can't detect built in WLAN Card

Acre aspire s3-391 atheros WLAN card not shown in device manager I can't usetheinternet as a result

    Have you try to install the last Atheros wireless lan driver?

    Yes I have. The wizard can't complete because it prompts me to insert the device as it canon not detect my WLAN card

    Hello,

     

    Have you try to remove it and re-install it (-- out voltage -- be careful to the antenna cable)?

    Have you clean the inside with air duster or spray duster?

     

    If it doesn't recognize your wlan card, I advise you to change it.

    It's not very expensive less 30€.

    You'll find below the part number of your wlan card:

    I was thinking of replacing it as well. However i tried to factory reset it just as a last ditch attempt and now i cant even boot up properly, its permanately stuck in "Setup is preparing your computer for first use"

    You didn't try what I said.Smiley Sad. It's due to the same issue ... the wlan card.
