hi .

i'm new here although i've had this acer for about 4 years.

I can't get bt sport live to work for me.

I can get on the site and everything goes fine until the point where I click 'watch live'. Then it starts buffering and that's the end of that. It keeps on buffering.

there is no problem with my home hub router as it works on the ipad ok.

by the way, I'm connected wirelessly - again that works fine onthe ipad

any advice appreciated

thanks a lot

    Hi redex

What is other streaming video sites like (IE, Youtube and BBC iplayer)? Do they buffer too, or are they OK?

Iplayer is fine and netflix no problem.
    Just BT and the acer.
BT to ipad ok as well.
Wanted it on the Acer as I have a HD cable to television

That is strange. If all other streaming video works on your Acer, so should BT Sport. There is no logical reason for it not to! Have you tried restarting your router?

Are you having any other issues with your laptop, that may give me clues to why this is happening?

    Hi there
No other issues I can think of.
I didn't try resetting the router as it was ok with ipad. But might have a go
The videos on it were ok, just live feed
Also might try BT sport when I'm not so pushed- it was my first attempt, I was already to watch moto gp, so was not the best frame of mind for experimenting.
    Thanks for response

    hello again, I'm back!!

well I did a complete factory default restore (never really backed up since I got it and thought this would be as good a time as any)

It has made a huge difference to the speed of everything as you might expect.

Bt sport is loading up fine, and no buffering at all so I think the poor old thing must have just been full to the limit.

Having got it working though, I can't get it to show on television screen.

    I get a message saying

6035 unable to play back video

    err: VC019

I had a quick look in faq's re the error code, but thought Id get your thoughts on it before I fry my brain again.

Is this something BT might do to stop television viewing, or is it unrelated?

once again thanks for any help

Great - glad the problem (and your laptop) is sorted!

With regards to you new problem, apparently it's quite common. See this thread, and this one for some tips.
