I am considering the AT3-600-UR33  that is available on the emachinesredeem website. Can anyone tell me if this PC will allow me to run the video editing software provide by GoPro for their cameras? The minimum requirements they list on their website are CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo ; Graphics card that supports OpenGL 1.2 or higher; RAM 4 GB or greater; Hard Drive 5400 RPM internal drive; Quick Time 7.6 or greater. Here is the website  http://gopro.com/support/articles/what-are-the-minimum-system-requirements-for-gopro-studio

thank you for your help

    Hi LMinCT

The Dual core Celeron is not as good as the Core 2 Duo chip - everything else will be OK.

In theory - the answer is "maybe", but it is not the ideal machine for your software, unless you can find another video editing suite that will work with the Celeron.

The machine will run slow, whilst using, even come to a halt if processing HD video, and that is providing it will allow you to install it in the first place.

The AT3-600-UR33 is not a bad machine, it is just for everyday use.

I am logged into the emachineredeem site, have my certificate in hand. Want to order  AT3-600-UR33  that is available on the emachinesredeem website, but can't get the page to add to cart. I called 1-888-******* and listened through the options, none gave me a number to call, simply referred me back to the emachineredeem site  upon which the subject item will not fully load. I had to go source to make sure it was the desktop I wanted.  Maybe I should just send in by snail mail to get my $62.50.  I don't want those listed under Laptop, mainly netbooks.  I'm on an year 2007 iMac which I need to focus on replacing very soon.

The following site tells me others have not found a phone contact. Reading the troubles others have had, I've decided to snail mail in for my $62.50.

    1) Emachinesredeem.com is run by secondipity.com.  The secondipity site has contact information.  You could probably contact them there.  They have been very responsive for me via email.

    2) The emachinesredeem.com site seems to be working OK for me.  I just tried it. Getting to the shopping cart is a little confusing, though.  You need to click on the item to open it, and then click on add to cart.  When you go to view the cart, another page opens up first.  You'll need to go halfway down on the right side of the page and enter your zip code and then click on another button to actually check out.

By the way, I got the same model a few weeks ago.  Despite the modest specifications, it seems to be a very capable machine for what I do . . . productivity applications and a little live music recording.  I've been very happy with it.
