Revo RL80 ethernet controller

I've recently bought an RL80 and installed Win7 on it (I know it's designed for Win 8) and I've managed to get everything working apart from the ethernet port.  Whenever I install a driver it comes up with that it cannot find the ethernet controller and I can't seem to find a work around for it.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the wired connection working?  I have the wireless working but ultimately it will be hard wired to the network to be used as a HTPC.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chris

Have you tried the Windows 8 driver - it MAY work?

Failing that, the LAN driver (Ethernet) is an Intel one, so try here. You have the option of searching for a driver or scanning your system to find it, so if there is one available for your Revo, the scanner should find it!

    Hope this helps

    Thanks for the reply.

I've tried the win 8 driver with no success, also tried the rl70 wan drivers with no luck. Havent tried the intel site but have installed the chipset drivers. Also tried the Realtek website but no luck.

I will try the link you've provided and see what happens.
