Hello. Can somebody help me to update my Acer Liquid E2 DUO to the latest OS?
I don't know how to do it... I have downloaded the zip with the OS and now what should I do?...
Current Version: Acer_AV061_V370_1.005.00_EMEA_CSM

I want to do this update becouse Flappy Bird has a horrifying lag. Do you know that the problem might be?

One more thing. While downloading something Flappy Bird works very good...

as i told in a previous thread, your EMEA_CSM is the latest version, no more updates.

sorry about that, but the only solution to update is to change rom version from EMEA_CSM to WW_GEN1, but you will avoid the warranty and can't be discussed on this forum.

Ok, thanks for that but how to solve the lag from Flappy Bird?
For a Quad-Core CPU and 1 GB RAM it should work great...

    EDIT: Factory reset doesn't work...

probably Flappy Birds doesn't throttle the CPU and GPU to full usage and this cause lag.

    you can try this:

    system settings/about phone

scroll down to "build number" and tap few times  the "build number" , it will appear the "developer options".

after the pop up with "developer options" enabled, press the back button and tap on "developer options", scroll down in this menu and tick:

    disable hw overlays

    force GPU rendering

press back until the HOME screen then try to play Flappy birds again, if still laggy.....no more solutions.

if still lagging, remember to untick the 2 previous settings.

Hi , I want to know if there is a solution to change the ROM in a certified acer service  and still have waranty ,from acer ,

one problem would be the build in  space reserved for OS and apps is not enough  , and all other companies are launching new versions of android 4.,
