S7-392 touch screen not working at small area

I noticed that a small area of the bottom left corner (above the taskbar) of screen does not respond to finger touch.

Touch pad and mouse no problem.  Only when touching the screen.

When an application is active...such as VLC...and I want to pause it (VLC player Pause button shows on bottom left corner), it does not respond. With the mouch or touch pad both work.

It is the same behaviour with other applications...that area of the screen does not work with finger touch.

Anyone with the same problem?

Update on above problem. Confirmed touch screen 'dead' area with Fresh Paint (can also use Paint) to paint over entire screen...problem area show up as not painted.

Brought over to acer service centre and the nice tech. updated the bios and it solves the problem (now can paint over the previous 'dead' area)...however, I think there is still something 'not quite right'...and look forward to an even newer bios to make the touch screen more stable.

I thank the tech. [edited for privacy] for his helpfulness...good example of warm customer service.
