Bluetooth on Acer R7 (model 572 Haswell)

I cant seem to find bluetooth on my acer r7? Trying to hook up a bluetooth speaker

Isnt there supposed to be some software or something? Search bluetooth on my computer and nothing came up

can somebody help me here?

    You could check the following (I have the dutch version of windows 8.1, so hope you can follow).

    1. activate the charmbar (on the right side).

    2. Go to 'settings'

    3. go to 'pc settings' which is down below.

    4. go to 'pc and devices' (first one in the list)

    5. click bluetooth. Now you should see the status of your bluetooth radio.

    Hi, MDacerGuy,

     

    Perhaps asking the obvious, but is the bluetooth radio on? press fn + the antenna button (i believe 2) then both wifi and bluetooth are turned on.

    no problem asking obvious because i didnt/dont know how to turn it on

     

    but hitting that key combo simpy toggled be on/off(wifi) and airplane mode

    at least from what I could tell

    what indicator is there to let you know that bluetooth is one?(or off)

    but shouldnt there be some bluetooth software or program on the computer?

    drivers etc?

    what do i need on my computer

    But thanks for your steps, in pc and devices bluetooth simply wasnt..................turned on.

     

    Its nice for people like you to give people simple answer without being "flamed"
