i've got a new planetarium app "mobile observatory", but cannot use the live modus. it says: you have not the needed sensors.

what can I do, my Iconia A 1 810 is brandnew and I do'nt understand this lack of sensors. Can anybody explain me, why this tablet has not the right sensors for to watch the night sky live in every direction the tabled is held to? Thanks for answers, Toni

Not knowing what sensors you need exactly it's hard to say.

I myself with my A1-810 have no problems play games on it that require me to Tilt my Tablet or turn it from side to side.

Are uou sure the program you are trying to use is compatible with the A1-810?

That is the first thing I would double check.

And even though it may say it's compatible with your A1-810 doesn't mean it will be.

I know that makes no sence.

I had a couple that I used to use on my Lenovo A2109A running JB 4.1.1, That were not compatible with my A1-810 running JB 4.2.2.

Another good example of what I am talking about.

The game Angry Birds Go on Google Play it tells me it's not compatible with my A1-810 and it won't let me dwnld it.

But I can go and get it from Amazon's App Store same exact version of the game, It tells me it's compatible with my A1-810.

So I can downld it and it plays flawless.

    Go Figure....

Someone PLEASE Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the A1-810 has all of the usual sensors that an Android Tablet usually has. Hope this helps.

It is quite possible the app is expecting to be able to query nearby cell phone towers to get position and direction. It should be able to use the GPS instead though. Contact the software developer for support on the issue.
