What is $Acer$.cmd for?

I have a new V5-573P.  When I go to start menu (classic shell) and type "cmd" for command prompt out of habit, the first result in the list is $Acer$.cmd, which when I hit enter (again out of habit) immediately starts shutting down the computer.  Needless to say this is very annoying.

Any idea what this is for, and whether I can delete it or rename it such that's not the top of the list?

It's located in c:\windows\system32.

This strange shutdown script has boiled my blood countless times... The search field finds that file and lists it above cmd.exe, and like you, I am in the habit of clicking Start and typing cmd quickly to open a prompt.

It's asinine and annoying, but the easiest fix is to type the word COMMAND out entirely. I've deleted the $acer$.cmd out of vengeance before, tho...

Another reason to wipe and install a fresh, de-garbaged OS on each PC!!
