Aspire V5-531 - Operating System Not Found ( New HDD )

hi

I have acer Aspire V5-531 and new hdd 

Because the original hard drive damage 

Now I want to install Windows 8 64 or 32  or windows 7 64 or  32

This message appears : Operating System Not Found

    Userpro, I'll try to help. There is more than one version of the V5-531, but it came with either Windows 7 or 8 (possibly even Linux). Your original hard drive had a recovery disk with necessary drivers that you won't find on an installation disk. Since you have a 64 bit system, I would not recommend installing a 32 bit OS.

     

    Your best move might be to take everything back to the shop where you bought the new hard drive, and see if they can install your original OS. They will still have to install drivers for your new hard drive.

    Hi 

    Have you solved this problem i have the same problem , let me share you my problem , i had a virus i want to totally install a new OS, I can not format from my computer due to he virus ,so i use another PC to format the hard disck , then i try to install the  PC, this time  it came with different problem, black screen with the message operating system not found ,  F2 ,  F12 or any other function key do not give any result ,i can not see bios , I restart and try every F keys but still the message is there OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND . Please I need support how to solve  the problem .  I thank for all support due to me in advance

    i have solvemy  problem , if you have the same problem please  dont forget the simplest thing check your os bit 64 or 32 dont try to change i was trying to install 32 bit and neverr boot , but with win 8 64 bit it is ok it directly boot from cd but the F keys ? i dont know  yet , thanks if u had traid to replay me , but still i love to here from you .
