Hi,

I've already tried ti solve the problem with microsoft. You can see everything on:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-system/system-thread-exception-not-handled-igdkmd64sys/9b6184e7-dd3f-4d73-a056-d4ddd493c63b

The pproblem is:

I've just bought a home theater (HTS5563) and I have a problem. When I connect the laptop (Acer S7) via hdmi on the HT and the HT to the projector (acer H6500) I get blue screen "System thread exception not handled igdkmd64.sys".

If I connect the HT to my TV, everything works fine.

Any sugestion?

Thank you

Hi there, interestingly I have the same issue with a Lenovo X1 Carbon (using a mini display port to hdmi adapter, a Harman Kardon home cinema system, and an Epson beamer). The problem does not occur when I connect to the beamer directly, only when I connect to the home cinema system. A part of the solution could be that the beamer only uses the video signal (and no audio in contrast to the home cinema system which uses both). Could my Realtek soundcard be the issue? Did you find a solution?
