powercord tripped on and either laptop dropped or just turned off.

Don't know full story.

Plug in and blue light comes on.

Press power on button and blue light turns off and laptop is dead - nothing

I've stripped it and 19v is getting to the main board miniplug so the jack is working.

I've remove all hardware and checked seating of ram and it still does the same with no hardware connected

Used a express card diagnostic but no power to that ???

I'm thinking main board or processor.

What do you guys think??

You could take it to a local engineer, but I'm sure it won't be worth it.

    A bin job, I think!

    Hi James

It sounds like to me, that the main board itself is at fault....

Thats what I thought - Thank you.

Is there a way to diagnose the main board please or is it ready for the bin?

    Thanks

    James
