In my K520 3D menu, the 3D mode is disabled and only the message related to 3D communication message (last one of three in the menu) can be selected and modified (off-on).

Can anybody help me on how to activate this mode? The BRplayer doesn't detect a 3D projector anc work only in 2D mode.

Thanks

Acer has an article posted on their support site to set up 3D projection, if you haven't looked it over, here's the link: http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32168

Just to ask the question, is your BluRay player a 3D player?

Many tanks for support... yes the BluRay player is a recent 3 D model (Samsung BD-F7500), I suppose the problem isn't in the player.

Following the article verification it's clear that they are speaking about the use of the projector with a PC installing a video card.

I've a different application, I'm using the projector in normal connection to a BluRay player.

The problem encountered on the projector is related to the £D set-up page, in wich the first line report £D - enabled (On-Off); the set-up is in off mode but the line is in low contrast mode and cannot be selected with the remote command arrows... in this way the 3D mode is off and remain in this condition. It's not clear if this is a projector defect or a wrong set-up.  Thanks for support.

I'd give Acer a call (800) 816-2237 or send them a chat to see if they can help you over the phone. If they can't, and it's in warranty, you could send it in for repair possibly and let them check it out for you.

Thanks for support, contacts with Acer technical support gave me a possible answer, can be useful to solve the problem to other users: the 3D selection is available only if the HDMI interface is 1.4 version or more.

The DR reader doesn't declare the HDMI versios, a request is actually in process to Samsung thechnical support; could be possible that, also if the reader is a recent model, a firmware update is necessary!!! I hope this is the solution. Thanks again.
