Acer Aspire 5349 -How to increase the Intel HD Video Memory

To All,

I have an Acer Aspire 5349-2635 that I upgraded to the maximum RAM of 8GB.

I noticed that the Intel(R) HD Graphics Family has only 128MB dedicated to video memory, with a shared portion of over 1600MB.

I tried to changed the RAM allocation in Windows 7 using the "resources" tab in the properties section, but by default it has been set to use automatic settings and the option was grayed out.

Is there a way for me to change this to 1024MB of dedicated video memory or will it make a difference?

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can offer.

Sincerely,

KC
