Thank you for not answering, it was for broadcom sd card reader driver.just don't install itand uninstalling it won't help only system restore.

I'm wanting to be certain that I understand.

    You have installed Windows 8.

The HDD and ODD activity lights are constantly blinking.

You resolved the issue by uninstalling a "pioner disk drive" from Device Manager.

Has the device reinstalled itself after you rebooted?

Are your HDD and ODDs working?

What is the device ID of the device listed as "pioner disk drive" ?

Same issue with me.  Acer Aspire 5560-sb613, upgraded to windows 8 and my HDD light constantly blinked.  If I disable the DVD drive in device manager it stops.

Haven't been able to find any fix.

The real solution is at the moment:

    http://superuser.com/questions/229546/why-does-my-hard-drive-led-light-blink-every-second

disable the "Broadcom Card Reader Service": in Services go to its properties, stop it and change its startup type to "disabled". The blinking will finally stop.

The reason for blinking is immensely bad programming of that service by Broadcom.
