Acer w700 bluetooth keyboard worked yesterday ...but today it would recognize it was on... have tried removing the pairing from tablet to keyboard... but still can't get it to detect any bluetooth devices... any ideas??

Acer updater says i have 0 updates avaible...  but the driver is from september according to device manager...

(also i know the keyboard is working becaue i can see it from my mac while it is in pairing mode. have not paired it with any other devices though...)

10.0.0.209  is my wifi driver and bluetooth is 8.0.0.210

    attempting to download 10.0.0.217   and 8.0.0000.0200 ....

both of those are around a month old  so... just wondering if there are newer drivers and a link to those drivers if so?

And any other suggestions for making keyboard work would be nice. lol. i think its a tablet issue though.... and yes i tried the connect method that is in the instructions... doesn't even appear on the tablet's "searching for bluetooth devices" ...

You definitely want to do the upgrade before you try to determine cause & fix (the upgrade may fix it anyway). After downloading the driver, as is mentioned in other posts of this site, you have to go into UNINSTALL PROGRAMS and remove the Qualcomm Atheros program there, then remove the ATHEROS network device from device manager.

Only then run the installation program.

    Iconia WiFI problem

I had lots of network issues before, and some bt delays at times, but after the driver upgrade and changing the advanced power plan options for the plan I am using (balanced) I was stable for several days. System got unstable again after a series of WIndwos 8 updates and an acer update -  do not know which one caused the problem.

Uninstalling didn't work properly, so I manually delted as many files as possible (some are being in use), windows asked me to reset which I did and then repaired the network & bt driver again. Humming smoothly now. Still scary when updates break things, guess this is the price one pays for playing with new device/new OS combo.
