You only need to deal with the plan you are using. Make the change so when on battery it doesn't save quite so much energy and you'll be back to speed.

    Hi

Same Here, New W700. when plugged everything is working great. when I unplug the AC adpter preformance drops immediately, touch screen barley functions, lots of ticks and freezes and basically unbearable preformance.

have tried to disable intel dynamic platform & thermal framework on all 3 plans, but it didn't help.

this tablet worth nothing this way. anyone has this problem? or can suggest a solution?

    thanks

I am copying here the solution that worked for me. But before that, you will have to download the new drives for windows 8.1 that Acer provided over here for iconia w700 http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers.

    The solution here :

"I googled it a bit, and this seems to be the universal solution for everyone.

In power settings, under advanced options, you chose 'Disable' under Intel dynamic platform and thermal framework/low power options.

I changed it for all power plans.

Let me know if it works for you."
