    Hi zeemo1

The drivers you require are on the "Drivers & Manuals" section of the Acer support page. They should automatically be installed on your laptop as standard (providing your exact model supports Bluetooth). Have you upgraded the OS or have they just stopped working?

    Hi zeemo1

You will find all the drivers for the E1-531 here. Just remember to select your OS from the drop down menu.

On a side note, see if you can edit your message & remove your email address - you don't want to get spammed do you? Smiley Tongue

Zeemo, your budget machine contains an unusually strong antenna, but does not include Bluetooth.

"Broadcom cards provide both LAN and WLAN. Wireless network access always worked without interferences because a correspondingly sized antenna is installed. Connections with 802.11 b/g/n networks can reach speeds up to 72 Mbit/s. Other features, such as Bluetooth, are not available."

Let me help you out, my friend. Bluetooth is a piece of equipment that is not included in your computer. However, you are able to get onto a WiFi network with the powerful hardware that you already have.

If you can't connect to a wireless network, you might not be paying for it with your service provider.

Btballoon is a process that belongs to Bluetooth software. There is more information here, about btballoon.dll missing, that may help.
