G235H Monitor says "Cable Not Connected" and Menu button does nothing

Bought (2) G235H monitors 1.5 yrs ago. They have been running in dual monitor mode the entire time. One still functions fine, but the other one now only displays "Cable Not Connected" and the buttons on the bottom do nothing when pressed...no menus, no options, nothing. I have changed cables, outputs on the video card, etc and it changes nothing...same problem, same monitor. Is there any way to "reset" the monitor or anything else I can try to resolve the issue? If not, how do I initiate a warranty repair or replacement?

Any idea what could have happened recently? - improperly cleaned the screen, lightning storm, or maybe extra humid/hot or cold? ...otherwise, I suppose it could have just failed, but 1.5 years is really early...I'm not sure if Acer themselves replace the unit, but assuming it's still under warranty, contact Acer through their support site via chat (US link - will need an S/N that should be located on the back of the monitor), and I'd also contact the store you originally bought it from for other possible options...

Might try just using one monitor - first the single one you know works, then the single one that's problematic with the same cords...or maybe another computer if it's available - even a laptop. If the problem persists, inspect the problematic monitors ports on the back of the monitor, along with the power cord (possibly worth replacing, maybe temporarily with the good monitor's cord).

Edit: Most curious - you say the buttons on the monitor don't work...have you used them in the past? - are you certain they worked previously? - because I'm fairly sure they should be able to work whenever, as long as the monitor is on...
