S3-391 graphic driver issues with Windows 8.1

Hello,

I recently upgraded my S3-391 to Windows 8.1 and am trying to install the new drivers from the Acer site. However, when I try to install the Intel VGA driver, I get a message that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. The driver version on the site is listed as v10.18.10.3304. I have an Intel HD 3000 graphics chip.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of driver do you presently have installed on the system?

Have you attempted to completely remove the previous driver before installing the newer?

Looks like your CPU is 2nd generation Intel CPU(Sandy bridge). Intel doesn't provide SandyBridge w8.1 driver, but original driver may work fine. So you don't need to install addtional driver.
