32 hours and counting.. full recovery using erecovery on hdd partition

Hello... I have acer aspire 3830tg timeline x laptop. It doesn't have optical drive o i had to boot into erecovery using alt f10. The only option i have is to perform full recovery. It has been 32 hours and the process still running at setup is installing devices with a line and running dot with black background. It ha been 20hours on that stage. Is it normal or my hdd hsd problem?. When i closed the lid it will shutdown. Then when press on the power button, dark bright screen, 1 flyinh dot then 2 and 3 and 4 flying dot forming the windows. Could you imagine how slow it is running. The dot is flying very slow. Then after that it resume at installing device. My hdd sata mode is ahci. Actually my laptop crach to bsod after playing ms flight simulator x and had it hard reset after freezing in the game. I run startup recovery, it stuck on repairing hsrd disk. 2 hours without progress. That was in ide mode.in ahci mode, it just went blank and than background with cursor that acan be moved around. I'm stuck here. Is it normal for recovery to take 32 hours++ or my hdd is corrupted?
