Product registration failure by using the AcerSense-App. Says 'this number is already registered'.

Dear reader,

I've registered a new laptop by using the AcerSense-App. The laptop is visible in the app but it looks like there was a technical issue and therefor my laptop wasn't registered correctly. When I log into my account by use of a web browser the laptop is not visible. When I try to register the device a message shows 'this number is already registered'.

What can I do?

    If your laptop shows as registered in the AcerSense app but not in your online Acer account, it’s likely a sync issue between local registration and the global Acer ID database.

    Since you're probably based in the Netherlands, please use the Acer Europe registration portal directly:

    If the system reports “this number is already registered,” it means the serial number is already tied to an Acer ID—possibly via AcerSense or a retail channel. In that case:

    • Log out and back into your Acer ID account
    • Try registering again using the full SNID or serial number
    • If it still fails, contact Acer Europe support with proof of purchase
